Instead of playing chess with computer Ebrahim Jahandar now is able to play chess directly and phsically with his own chess playing robot. Yes, Ebrahim Jahandar was developed a robot that is able of playing chess with human. This chess playing robot given ability to recognize its opponent movements and remarkably capable of making decision about the next move and then picking up pieces to move them. In order of enabling the robot to move the pawn Ebrahim Jahandar used a movable hook. Moreover he used a special board with magnetic sensor and small magnets at the bottom of each pawn. These way the chess playing robot could track every movement of pawns.

Modern Wakamaru Robot at the Ancient Osaka Festival

This is what happen if robot was born in the land of robotic of Japan, they were included into traditional event. As we know Japan is a powerful country in a matter of robotic but they originaly still hold well their culture. Wakamaru is a modern high-tech android robot designed by Mitsubishi Heavy industries. Mitsubishi designed this robot for domestic and office work purpose. In 2009 this Modern Wakamaru Robot was included into one of the most famous festival in Japan. Modern Wakamaru Robot took place as participant in the Osaka Tenjin Festival. The Osaka Tenjin Festival is Japanese old festival that held at streets and rivers of Osaka every July.

South Korean Robot Land Plan

South Korea was planning to build a magnificent Disneyland for robot named Robot Land. For the operation plan this South Korean Robot Land need at least 785.5 billion of KRW. As reported by Gizmodo $230 million of budget has been secured. This fantasy land of South Korean Robot Land features several attractions like Robot Water Park, Robot Battle Stadium, Robot Flower Island, Robot Museum, etc. The South Korean Robot Land will be built in Masan, South East Coast area of South Korean. This fantasy land is not the first robotic fantasy land that was built in South Korean. In Incheon City a similar robotic fantasy land has been built first.

Eye Tracking Camera that You Can’t Look Away

This built-in eye tracking camera is an early stage of development camera project from students of University of Texas. This built-in eye tracking camera uses game simulator, a flight simulator for example. The flight simulator uses first person head as the joystick to control pitch and roll angels. For the hardware of this virtual reality gaming setup, a pico projector was connected to the eye tracking camera. The eye tracking camera tracks where the person eye is looking at while the pico projector will display the target. The motorized pico project and the eye tracking camera will not allow your eyes to look away. This project could be a great gaming setup one day.

Chalkbot Messenger Robot at the Route of the Tour de France

This robot was shown up in the route of the Tour de France. Hitched at the back of an SUV, this robot printed messages along the route of the Tour de France. This robot was built by DeepLocal and Standard Robot with sponsorship from Nike and Livestrong Foundation of Lance Armstrong. The Chalkbot Messenger Robot is a mobile robot with weight of 2,200-pound. The main point of this robot project is putting messages of hope. This robot means to reveal the hope of cancer survivors to give inspiration to people. Travel ahead of cyclists at speed of five miles per hour down the route of the Tour de France, this robot printed messages down the street with yellow paint.

Fly Powered Robot Clock by James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau

This clock is a predator clock which means it has to be feed or eat living creature to be alive. This clock robot eats flies to power its microbial fuel cell. This unique Fly Powered Robot Clock is developed by James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau. Their Fly Powered Robot Clock uses two motors, fly paper, scraper, and microbial fuel cell to get work. With all of these stuffs the clock robot is able to collect energy from the dead flies. Using energy from eight dead flies the Fly Powered Robot Clock could run for the next 12 days to tell you time in different way. The Fly Powered Robot Clock catch flies using its fly paper. This paper is slowly rolled toward a scraper that will crush the flies. The crushed flies collected from the fly paper will be received by the microbial fuel cell;

Bible Scribe is how they name this remarkable robot project that was done in 2007. This robot was developed by robotlab. The Bible Scribe Robot Arm uses industrial robot arm to write down the bible and its contents on papers. Bible Scribe Robot Arm could write in lines with high precision and remarkably neat. More than just write the bible on the order this robot is able to draw it on calligraphic lines. This intelligent industrial robot arm works like a writing bible monk, it creates the text step by step. For the whole book the Bible Scribe Robot Arm takes about seven months. This is starting with the Old Testament and the books of Moses until it completes the 66 books of bible.

Ciudad Nazca Robot at Peruvian Desert

Its a brilliant idea to use a robot in a art project to draw a true scale of map into a surface of desert. This Ciudad Nazca project was done by artist named Rodrigo Derteano. His autonomous Ciudad Nazca robot is able of uncovering desert ground to reveal lighter color underneath. This Ciudad Nazca robot’s techniques is similar to the original Ciudad Nazca lines that was found in the southern desert of Peru. Derteano autonomous robot was used to draw map of city in the desert. This robot moves with the sensor guidance installed on it. Some cities that was drawn on this project are Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro and Bogota. An image could have about kilometers of lenght which could only seen from a plane or satellite.
