Contemporary Artistic Furniture Design Walking Bookcase

This is one of the result in combining craftsmanship and design, Walking Bookcase. Walking Bookcase designed and built with oak and equipped with stainless steel walking mechanism and tara….. push it and it will walk. This unique walking furniture has been shown up in Milan at 2010. Carrying two bookcases in each side this furniture could mimic a natural walking motion. Wouter Scheublin succeed in creating unique walking furniture, beside this one he also made another walking furniture named Walking Table.

HortiBot An Extra Hand For Farmer In Weeding

Designed by Rasmus Jorgensen at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in Aarhus University this robot was named HortiBot. This robot was created in order to give farmer extra hand in weeding. Equipped with camera this robot is able to move right in its track in the field. In doing its job the robot identifies the different shapes of leaves that oriented in which one is weed or isn’t. This helpful robot for farmer was in the list of 2007 Best Inventions in TIME magazine.

Friendly Expressive Subaru Cleaning Robot

A cleaning robot was developed by Subaru. This robot was a super worker in doing the job. In once battery recharge this robot could do a massive cleaning work. Sensor system used in this robot enables it to avoid any obstacle while doing the cleaning. The manufacturer added LCD as its “head” to make facial expressions, so that this 89cm tall robot can look friendlier with its user of course. And don’t be surprised that this robot can ride on the elevator in completing its job!

The Shimon Robot Playing Music was built by Guy Hoffman from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He gave Shimon Robot Playing Music remarkable ability to respond to human musician. It is able to match the beat, sync, and themes of human musician.

Toyota Created Maid Robot Than Doing Your Laundry

Engineers from Toyota and the University of Tokyo designed a maid robot that could assist people doing their house work like cleaning floor, serving food and drink or doing their laundry. This household robot is given the best ability to do her job. This robot could correct its mistake in doing the job. So that in future the robot could do its job correctly. The system built on this robot enable this robot to create three dimensional environment so that it could recognize its environment. To support this system the engineers equipped this robot with wide angle stereo cameras, stereo telescopic cameras, omnidirectional cameras and ultrasonic sensors. Totally this household robot weighted 287 pounds.
