A 37 year old Canadian Named Rob Spences regain vision of his right eye in unusual way. He tried to replace his prosthetic right eye with a battery powered video camera and a transmitter. This camera will record everything he sees in a digital video. Boston Dynamics that is known for their robot like Petman or BigDog got new contract from DARPA to develop two new robots. One of the robots is called Cheetah. And just like its name this robot super ability is running faster than human or any other legged robot. This four legged robot will be able in cornering like race car with the flexible spine and an articulated neck. Moreover the design of this robot will create ability in running zigzag to chase something. Another ability that posibly developed on this robot is the ability in stopping and starting in a dime.
This article is about the third generation of Actroid, the Actroid DER3. She comes as the younger sister of the DER2. This type Actroid uses the same technology as her successor. The different is that she has improved her expression. She, now, can move her arm as well as her foot in a particular movement. For an example when you hold her hand, then she just can move her foot just like kicking a ball.
Like Japan that has their Actroid Chinese has their own pretty humanoid robot named Dion. Its quite funny to have Chinese robot named Dion actually. This robot appears in sexy looking girl with blonde hair and able to sing a song. But this robot is more like a doll with ability to sing rather than called to be a robot. Her lips move only a bit when she sings a song, still far from sophistication robot like another real like human robot.
