Using energy from eight dead flies the Fly Powered Robot Clock could run for the next 12 days to tell you time in different way. The Fly Powered Robot Clock catch flies using its fly paper. This paper is slowly rolled toward a scraper that will crush the flies. The crushed flies collected from the fly paper will be received by the microbial fuel cell;
Here is the last in lines of INTRA’s robots that canceled to be sent to Japan to help the nuclear leak handling in their damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant. Its robot’s name is ERELT that stans for Teleoperated Relay Robot. The main mission of this teleoperated robot is to relay transmissions of radio from and towards other robots. Beside that this robot could also be used in improving the radioelectrical coverage. Other missions that could possibly done by this robot is the visual inspection of radioactivity environment and temperature measurement. ERELT has the same basis with ERASE robot but different only that ERELT doesn’t has arm.
Run by Paul Kocyla a small studio from Germany PK Remote Sensing developed an interactive female robot named KommuniKate. This female robot has a built-in artificial intelligent inside. She can interpret language and recognize faces. Connected into network and information this robot is not only able in answering question but also can show the context-sensitive multimedia with the projectors attached. The research is about the development of social robot. This robot designed to have social interaction with human and help them to solve the problem. Focus on the problem, Autom try to help human in losing the weight. This weight problem is a big problem for United State. Their existence increase the economy cost related to the obesity and health problems.
