Azerbaijan Offered An UAVs And UGV By Turkish Company

It was reported that a Turkish company named GATE Elektronik company offered their new product of universal robots and unmanned submersibles to Azerbaijan. GATE and Azerbaijan has been cooperated in a contract for the last five years, and during that years GATE established Electro Technical Repair Laboratory for the Azerbaijan Armed Force. This establishment of the repair center was only a short period of time said the official, while for the universal robots it was all under the discussion that being held by the two sides. The universal robots itself offered to different departments in Azerbaijan including the army, police, and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

Romeo: Expensive-Exclusive Elderly And Disable People’s Assistant Humanoid Robot

Paris-based Aldrebaran Robotics is trying to develop humanoid robot that later will be used to assist elderly and disable people. This robot named Romeo, is a French-adult-sized humanoid robot. This robot projected to be finished and unveiled in March this year. Romeo stands in 140cm tall and weights 40kg. Romeo is capable to have a good walk inside house with the support of 37 degrees of freedom. Romeo will help elderly or disable people in kitchen, taking out garbage, and assisting elderly and disabled in daily activities and tasks.

Eye Tracking Camera that You Can’t Look Away

This built-in eye tracking camera is an early stage of development camera project from students of University of Texas. This built-in eye tracking camera uses game simulator, a flight simulator for example. The flight simulator uses first person head as the joystick to control pitch and roll angels. For the hardware of this virtual reality gaming setup, a pico projector was connected to the eye tracking camera. The eye tracking camera tracks where the person eye is looking at while the pico projector will display the target. The motorized pico project and the eye tracking camera will not allow your eyes to look away. This project could be a great gaming setup one day.

Incredible Robot Recyta Displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show

Although, the incredible robot Recyta has not been completed yet the project has been displayed at the last Monaco Yacht Show. The robot was born in 2010 but it was still in process of the new 52m and would be finished in spring 2011. The incredible robot Recyta is the project of the robotized Benetti system in partnership with the Finnish company, Master Automation Group Oy. It will be very useful for the large factory, in which incredible robot Recyta is applied to the nautical sector to automate hull and superstructure grouting and finishing when preparing the steel and aluminum surfaces on large yachts.

Fly, Catch Rain Water, Purify Water And Serve It With Water Catcher

Adressed for water shortage Penghao Shan designed a conceptual product that automatically enabled flying to catch rain water and purify it. This conceptual design named Water Catcher that designed in small flying ball. This conceptual Water Catcher could be a great solution for a place where pure ground water is something hard to be found. Water Catcher works by flying autside to catch raindrops of rain water. After it is fully loaded with raindrops the small autonomous flying ball back to its tray where it is functioned as the purifier, after the water being purified the ball will fly to a person.

AISoy 1 Social Android Developed in Spain

Imagine that there is a robot that can “entertain, teach and be a companion” to human being or let us say that a social android that can be our ‘best friend, teacher, entertainment’. The Spanish firm AISoy Robotics had developed the first social android, which is introduced as the AISoy 1 Social Android and it had already sold in August 2010. Diego Garcia, one of the “fathers” of the robot and head of AISoy’s product engineering and development division, said, “it almost seems like science fiction, but it’s a reality”.
