This robot will stop you and beg for your kindness to give some donation with its adorable appearance. Looks like a panhandling this robot use can in front of its legs to collect the donations and thank to people who drop money to the can. Money that has been collected will be used to fund education in Ivory Coast’s schools. This donation collecting robot was the project from South Korean’s robotics with MIT Media Lab and named DONA. As you can see from the video bellow the robot motion was the result of motion-sensing system that equipped on DONA.
Japan’s Autonomous Tree Climbing Robot, Woody

There was RiSE robot from DARPA that could climb tree and its time for Japanese to show their tree climbing robot named WOODY. The development of Woody has been done before 2004 and now there are three models of this robot has been built. There are WOODY-0 (2004), WOODY-1 (2005-), and WOODY-2 (2008-).
