Mujiro Rigurio is a robot that used to provide information and security to visitor in an event. Mujiro Rigurio firstly made his appearance on AICHI EXPO 2005. Recently reported in Beijing, China, there was vending machine that used to sell coke or crackers were installed in some underground stations to sell fresh crabs. This vending machine placed in several underground stations and provided fresh Dazha crabs or ‘hairy crabs’. This type of crab known for its delicious taste, and the Twin Lake Crab Co looked it as an idea to supply people with fresh Dazha in vending machines. The crabs were packed in plastic boxes and sold in three sizes (large, medium, or small).
This robot may look like one of the Japan famous robot in helicopter. No! This cool robot name is RoboCopter and created by Yuneec. RoboCopter actually is a radio controlled micro helicopter with robot appearance. RoboCopter advances electronic mixing and proper rotor head to provide a stable flight and smooth flight performance. This robot weights 12.5gm and flown using 2.4GHz radio system. RoboCOpter is an easy to use radio controlled micro helicopter that could fly in 7-8 minutes. RoboCopter also has a proportional control for precise flight.
Engineering students in University of Liege in Belgium developed an autonomous robot called Albert. Albert the autonomous robot was their representing robot at robot competition that held by Eurobots in Switzerland. Albert that competed on the robot contest in the end of May 2010 designed with several abilities. This autonomous robot could avoid obstacles with the sensors equipped on it, climb slopes with its wheels, and retrieve color balls with its arm. Albert that represented Belgium in international robot contest was finish in 27th place in previous contest robot
It was developed in 2005 by Philips Research in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. This robot could create several face expression like raise its eyebrows, move its eyes, move its eyelids, move its head, and mouth. What users need to do just talk to this robot. The robot equipped with built-in microphone that could record sound and recognize people speech. After recognizing speech this robot will make face emotional response as what it’s heard. This robot was made in order to stimulate research in area of human robot interactions.
