In the project of rehabilitation for old sewage system in Zubara Avenue area for example, the contractor that worked on that project already used the robots rather than have to dig up the road to install new pipe lines. Frisch & Faust Tiefbau GmbH is a Germany contractor that worked on the sewage project that cost $17 million. The robot in this project was used to inspect, scan, repair, and upgrade the old sewage system. This leading trenchless pipe driving firm upgraded the sewage system because there were lots of complains about the smell and occasionally flooding.

Robot | Automation | Future Technology at Robotionary.Com

At this distance it was impossible for human to stop the oil from leaking and spreading into the open sea. BP, as the one responsible for this, hired robots to stop the leaking. Robot here literary describe as submersible vehicle that equipped with high-definition camera, remote controlled arms, connected-cable to supply the power, and fiber optic to transmit data. Most of the robots used on the operation manufactured by Oceaneering. These robots were hired to stop the leaking by installing oil-leaking preventer that made from series of pipes and valves. This highly complex tasks done by the robots that operated by the operators from above, at the ship.

Robot | Automation | Future Technology at Robotionary.Com
