One of the main resources on Christmas Island is phosphate. Phosphate mining on this place had been started since 1897 until present. Perhaps this prospect of phosphate mining became the main reason of Accuweight to offer their industrial robots to Christmas Island. It was robot model Fuji-Ace EC-201 with 1600 cycles per hour that being offered. This robot model has a high speed in palletizing bags of phosphates into sling ropes in shipping load for transportation. This robot came in complete pneumatically system like gripper, friendly touch screen display control panel, servo motor, and the most important heavy duty support base.

This is the Festo product that is called Aqua Jelly. Aqua Jelly is an artificial jelly fish that moves freely in water. This product completed with self controlling system that allowing the Aqua Jelly emulates swarming behavior. This Aqua Jelly details is: translucent hemisphere and eight tentacles for propulsion. With the 9 degree of freedom this powerful hand can make a lift about 749kg of weight. The robot hands actuators focused on its volume. This way it will eliminate any transmission problems when the hands move in an articulated wrist.

This robot can learn how to make realistic human facial expressions. Called as Einstein, this robot creates asymmetric random facial movements to explore face while the computer measures the expression and then has learned expression output. This unique robot head has about 30 facial muscles, each moved by a tiny servo motor connected to the muscle by a string.

This new harvest solution is developed by goverment boffins in order to find new way in harvesting cauliflowers and lettuces as the migrant labours who used to harvest it is in droves. As it was stated before that by the falling of some numbers of migrant labours there were increasing numbers of rotting crops because healthy crops couldn’t be harvested at the right time. And it was possible for engineers to create helpful equipment like robotic solution to deal with the decreasing numbers of migrant labours. This new sophisticated harvest cauliflowers solution is able in pulling lettuces and cauliflowers out of the ground and gather it to the counter.

Zhenpeng Li is a student of Zhejiang University in China. He was one of the finalist on Electrolux’s Design Lab 2009 with his Naturewash conceptual design. Naturewash was an inspiration of the next futuristic 90 years ahead washing machine. Zhenpeng Li imagined that 90 year later people should be closer to nature. From that view he designed a natural washing machine with grass or flower scents. This washing machine uses negative ions to wash nano-coated fabric. As Zhenpeng Li thought that 90 years ahead nano-coated fabric will be the main materials for people clothes.

It is an interesting as well as unique concept clock by Mintpass, the Marionette Clock. The concept uses entire wall acts as a clock and the hand is attached with strings that are clasped up to a conveyor on the top. One of the interesting points on this clock is that the innovative design of this clock. The clock designed like a puppet play where the Mint boys performed there. They move the clock hand by controlling the strings while riding a roller between their legs. Marionette boys’ work in controlling the vertical wires that attached to the clock’s hand by winding and unwinding the crank.

It seems that Iran seriously develops their power of their technology during 2010. In this year they activated their nuclear reactor in Bushehr, test fired their missile Qiam, planned to test fired the third generation of Fateh 110 missile, inagurated their production of missile carrying speedboat Seraj and Zolfagar, and also delivered their four new mini submarines that could be operated on shallow water areas. Beside all of these developments Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also unveiled their newest long range drone named Karar. It was reported that Karar was Iran new achivement of long range drone that could bomb its target in high speed.
