Wired for War is the most recent book from P. W. Singer that brings robotics as main theme. P. W. Singer or Peter Warren Singer is a senior fellow and director of the 21st Century Defense Initiative at the Brookings Institution. In his recent book entitled Wired for War Dr. Singer wants to tell people about the implication of robotics that used in war, politics, ethics, or law in present 21st century. In the first week of its release Wired for War book included into the New York Times non-fiction best seller list. Next for the number 5 world’s best robot ever built is the Da Vinci Surgical System. Introduced in 1999 this surgical system change the whole concept about operating room. The most innovative system on this robot is the robotic arms used on this robot that developed in replicating doctor’s hands perfectly. In number 4 NASA takes part with their Mars rover robots Opportunity and Spirit. Both robots are the robots that sent to Red Planet in 2003 to explore and find clues about past water activities in that planet. Dante II the Volcano Robot

Lead by John Bares and William L. Whittaker the development of Dante II take place in Carnegie Mellon University Field Robotics Center. Dante II is robot that was used to explore the Spurr Mountain in Alaska. This mountain exploration was done in 1994; this was the newest technology in addition to replace the human monitoring the volcano to take a sample for volcano exploration. It was too danger for human to take sample when the mountain is in dangerous condition.
