In 2009 a classic Manga story Tetsujin 28 has been adapted for a stage performence at Tokyo and Osaka. In this performance, Mamoru Oshii as the director included a 20 feet tall or appoximately six meters tall robot Tetsujin 28 into the stage. It was the replica of super robot in those Manga story, Tetsujin 28. This replica of giant 500kg robot was added into the stage and able to stand on its own foot. Mamoru Oshii the director used to direct such anime story. For example he was well known after directing anime story like Ghost in the Shell, Mobile Police Patlabor, and he was also well known for directing Avalon and other live-action projects.
