Nigeria Defense System Strengthened With Military Robot

Nigeria had spent $260 million contract to strengthen their defense system for its coastal oil operation reason. They had a deal with an Israel company to build a military robot in 2006, especially Robot Navy for Nigeria defense system. However, it had not been clear whether the Nigeria defense system robot navy would be adapted for pipeline security or border security. The Nigerian Navy step in building the robot navy was followed by India that was also getting into the act, with a Robot Army in the works. The Nigerian Navy (NN) spokesman, Commodore David Nabaida, states that the Nigerian Navy had announced that the two new warships acquired on November 2009.

Lithuanian Robotic Contest Baltic Robot Sumo

The competition in robot technology has grown rapidly; it has been proved since 2008 to present. The number of participants of robot instructors’ contests increased ten times now than the starting point of the competition in 2008 – “Baltic Robot Sumo” a Lithuanian robotic contest that has been established by the robot instructors from Klaip?da, Riga and Tallinn. As the common hobby among them in constructing sumo robots, they decided to establish a competition during annual contests. Lithuanian robotic contest Baltic Robot Sumo teams were known as some of the best androbots of Klaip?da in Europe.

Telepresence Robot Jazz Attracts Hanover tech fair Visitors

It is not about a genre of music but is about the technology. The world’s biggest IT fair that was hold on March 2011 at the CeBIT, in Hanover. Fictional Robot Collie: Russian Cybernetic Organism Patent Sketches

It is called The Collie – Cybernetic Organism that has been known as a fictional dog character from 1950s American television that was never smart enough to turn itself into a robot warrior. Fictional Robot Collie is just a series of photographs of Dmitry Izotov’s graphic design project that he has been altered to include a steam punk machine similar in James Cameron’s Avatar. Boing Boing’s Cory Doctorow is the one who has posted the patent sketches. It has drawn comparisons all over the Web to Lassie.

Malaysian National Robotics Competition For The Development Of Robotic Knowledge

The robotic knowledge has been the important subject of the education in the world. In the future, this subject could be one of the co-curriculum activities in every school in the world. As one of the proof, Malaysia has taken part in the development of robotic knowledge. The Malaysian National Robotics Competition that had already been held in the past two years and it always hold in every year as the effort of this country to develop a positive perception of science and technology and for the students’ future itself.

Robot Visual Systems In The Kingdom Of Morocco

Morocco had ordered the latest Robot technology from Robot Visual System GmbH in the form of an order for stationary speed monitoring systems or robot visual systems for the first time. The Kingdom of Morocco wanted to face up to the worrying developments in terms of road traffic deaths because this kingdom currently has a road network at about 62, 000 km in length. In maintaining the Kingdom’s economic success, the Ministry of Transport, therefore used the latest Robot Visual Systems GmbH’s technology worth around 7 million Euros. This first robot visual systems of robot digital radar technology has the MultaRadar S580 for speed monitoring

Mechanical Pair Trousers For Stroke Patients

Nowadays, there will be no worries anymore for those who get stroke. Japan that is pioneering robot technology tries to help the stroke patients to walk as other human beings do. The robotic legs that wrap around belt and legs, like a mechanical pair trousers that is attached to a patient to help them stand up and take steps. This mechanical pair trousers is called the Hybrid Assitive Limb that has been developed by a company called Cyberdyne in the end of 2010. The Hybrid Assitive Limb is equipped by sensor pads on the skin pick up the body’s electrical signals, in which the robotic legs will help the patient to stand up and take steps.

Three Robot Replicas Reunion With Their Masters

Imagine if there is our twin brother/ sister suddenly appears in front of us who has the same face, hair color and all the physical characteristics with us. This fact has happened at the end of March 2010 in Japan where three robot replicas met their truly characters. However, it is just the three robot replicas that have been ordered by Hiroshi Ishiguro of Osaka University, an unnamed Japanese woman, and Henrik Sharfe of Aalborg University in Denmark. Bulgarian Scientists Invented Nanorobot Hydromina

Hydromina is the newest nanorobot that invented by a team of scientists from Bulgaria. Although the project done by Bulgarian scientists, the Bulgarian state itself didn’t sponsor the project. The project was sponsored by EU and Germany and took cost about EUR 473,000. Hydromina itself expected to become a revolutionary in vitro fertilization and also revolutionary invention for other medical procedures. The team with 34 members of scientists that came from Institute of Mechanics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences worked at the basement of BAS Institute of Mechanics.

Moleculaire The Food Printer Concept

Moleculaire is a food printer designed by Nico Klaber from Germany. Moleculaire is a combination between science and cooking to create two or three dimensional parts of meals. Moleculaire is a great simplification of kitchen’s computer numerical control that printing food repeatedly. Moleculaire will be able to create the two and three dimensional printed food from basic to a difficult one, create simplicity and repeatability in printing tasty food.
