Black-I-Robotics has developed the new potential arm robot that has price and necessity for most important applications. This new robot has reasonable price, faster, and powerful than any present arm robot, beside that it has been combined with Energid Technologies that gives the Black I Robot manage and model with its Actin software toolkit and acquisitive algorithms. This combination creates lot of capabilities in explosive weapons disposal, vehicle examination, logistics support, and handling dangerous material, and unexploded weapons recovery. This Black I Robot has abilities in loading 300 lb and can be used in speed up to 17 mph. This device use COTS (Comercial off the Shelf Technologies) which reduce the system costs.
The combination of Energid’s Actin software maximizes the power, accuracy, cut joint torque, recover problems in hardware, avoid joint limits, and avoid accidents. This unit is able to reach even if a vehicle window and carefully lift and control object inside the vehicle. It will not be enough that the discussion above describe the goodness of Black I Robot without talk about the appreciation given to this robot. This robot has been awarded a major contract from the Technology Support Working Group for 2010-2011.
